Two in car shot dead, two others injured
SEREMBAN, May 11 — Two men were killed and two others injured when two gunmen on a motorcycle shot at their car last night, police said today.
Seremban district police chief ACP Saiful Azly Kamaruddin said the dead men had been identified as P. Chalidass, 29, of Jalan Rasah, Seremban, and G. Surentharan, 31, of Pasir Panjang, Port Dickson.
He said the shooting took place at 9.50pm as the multipurpose vehicle carrying the four men approached the traffic lights at Jalan Datuk Bandar Tunggal.
Despite being injured, the driver drove the vehicle to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, he said, adding that two men died between 11pm and 11.30pm.
“One of the injured men is in intensive care following surgery while the fourth man is in stable condition,” he told a news conference. The injured men are aged 29 and 40.
Saiful Azly said police found two 9mm shells and a bullet at the scene of the shooting and another bullet in the vehicle.
He also said the dead men were released recently from a moral rehabilitation centre in Machang, Kelantan. — Bernama
