Barnes & Noble Nook Simple Touch eReader. – Photo courtesy of Barnes & NobleLOS ANGELES, Aug 21 – Barnes & Noble’s bespoke eReader, the Nook, and its Reading Apps will arrive in the UK mid-October.

Two of the bookseller’s devices, the Nook Simple Touch and Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight, have been confirmed for the launch.

Neither price point nor retail partners have yet been announced, but the Nook Simple Touch will need to compete with Amazon’s Kindle, just as in North America, implying an eventual price tag of around £100 (RM492).
