KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 1 — The government delivery system has been rated as among the best in the world, said Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir.
He said the recognition accorded to the bureaucracy was also acknowledged by the United Nations Development Programme.
“This could be attributed to a marked improvement in the delivery system of the civil service for the past 10-15 years.
“Malaysia does not have to revamp or copy the system adopted by the West as the existing system is superb and suitable for the country,” he said when giving a talk on administrative and diplomatic officers as the agent of transformation at the Institute of Public Administration (Intan) here tonight.
