LOS ANGELES, July 13 — Kirsten Dunst has been added to the list of stars lined up for the thriller “The Two Faces of January”, according to entertainment publication Variety. The actress will star in the adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s novel of the same name alongside Oscar Isaac and Viggo Mortensen — her co-star in “On the Road”.
Hossein Amini, who wrote the screenplay for “Drive”, will take the director’s chair for the first time on a feature film. Amini, like other filmmakers before him, is taking the mysterious universe of Patricia Highsmith — known for The Talented Mr. Ripley and Strangers on a Train — to the silver screen.
Most of the action in “The Two Faces of January” takes place in Greece and follows a trio made up of an American fugitive, his wife and a young man with unclear intentions, who are brought together after the accidental death of a policeman.
