He’s now signed on to star in the supernatural horror films “Horns”.

Based on the bestselling book by Joe Hill (son of Stephen King), the film adaptation by Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes) explores the nature of good and evil.

The story centres on Ig Perrish, suspected of the rape and murder of his girlfriend. One day he awakens with a hangover and horns growing out of his head and possesses the power to get people to confess their sins, which could prove a big help when finding the real killer.

According to the press release, “This rock and roll infused dark fantasy explores why bad things happen to good people, and what the loss of true love can do to a man.”

Shia LeBeouf (“Transformers”) had been attached to the role but had scheduling conflicts.

Last seen in another horror/thriller, “The Woman In Black” with Ciaran Hinds (“John Carter”), Radcliffe is scheduled to portray Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in “Kill Your Darlings” with Michael C. Hall (“Dexter”). ⎯ AFP/Relaxnews
