Sep 20, 2012

LOS ANGELES, Sept 20 — The star from “The Expendables” is reportedly making a new push for a three-year-old project titled “Hunter”, according to Bloody-disgusting.com.

Sylvester Stallone — AFP/RelaxnewsFirst announced in September 2009, the Hunter project is back on Stallone’s agenda. He is reportedly in talks with Lionsgate to try and get the films in theatres in 2014. Stallone is slated to be involved as a scriptwriter, actor and director for the 3D-slated movie.

Instead of tying in with a fifth Rambo movie, as Stallone had originally intended, “Hunter” will reportedly stick to the plot of James Byron Huggins’ novel of the same name, set near the Arctic Circle. Sylvester Stallone would take on the lead role, a veteran hunter named Nathaniel Hunter who is called for back-up by the US military to hunt down a terrifying predator spawned by secret experiments. — AFP/Relaxnews
