LOS ANGELES, Jan 31 — The first trailer for the action-thriller The Cold Light of Day, starring Henry Cavill (Immortals), who will play Superman in the upcoming Man of Steel, was released January 30.

The film focuses on a young man whose family is abducted while on holiday in Spain. As he attempts to find them and rescue them before time runs out, family secrets are uncovered as is a government conspiracy.

The footage starts out like a vacation story — until the family vanishes. As the mystery unfolds, the CIA and conspiracies are revealed and danger increases.

Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver also appear, but no one’s identity or explanations are to be trusted. Mabrouk El Mechri directs.
