Film trailer: ‘Ted’ starring Wahlberg and Kunis
SAN FRANSISCO, April 6 — A trailer for Ted, starring Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter) and Mila Kunis (Friends with Benefits), was released April 4. An uncensored red-band version went online last week.
The comedy is about a 35-year-old man whose best friend is his childhood plush toy Ted, who as a boy he wished alive. The cute little teddy bear grows up to be a foul-mouthed, pothead slacker who gets between the guy and his girlfriend.
The combination of live action and computer-generated animated footage shows the story unfold with the troublesome bear getting kicked out of the house and getting a job, a suit and his own girlfriend – but not without a fight.
The film is directed and written by Seth MacFarlane, who created the animated hit US television show Family Guy and voices Ted as well as provides the motion-capture animation for the stuffed animal.
Ted opens July 12-13 in Australia, Germany and North America, followed by the UK, Italy and Brazil in August, France and other European markets in September and elsewhere through October. — AFP-Relaxnews
