LOS ANGELES, March 6 — According to the Hollywood Reporter, on Monday, the president of CBS, Leslie Moonves, told investors that the eighth season of “Dexter” will be the last.
When asked what would happen to cable channel Showtime after “Dexter,” Moonves spoke of the arrival of “Ray Donovan.”
As Moonves explained, the series starring Liev Schreiber will be aired from June and will “come on with ‘Dexter’s’ last season.”
For its part, Showtime has not yet officially announced the end of the series in which Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter play the lead roles.
“Dexter” is loosely based on novels by Jeff Lindsay.
The series explores one man’s double life: by day he is a forensic specialist for the Miami police and by night he is a serial killer. – AFP-Relaxnews
