Kanye West to debut short film ‘Cruel Summer’ at Cannes
Kanye West at the 2011 Met Ball. — Afp picCANNES, May 20 — Hip hop artist Kanye West will debut his short film ‘Cruel Summer’ on May 23 at this year’s Cannes Film Festival it was announced on Friday, May 18.
The short art film was apparently inspired by the G.O.O.D Music album of the same name. Kanye West promises “a fusion of short film and art installation” and an “immersive seven-screen experience” which will remain open to the public for two days after its premiere.
