Michael Mann will be heading the jury for 69th Venice film fest. – AFP picLOS ANGELES, June 2 – American director, writer and producer Michael Mann will preside over the jury of the 69th edition of Venice, Italy’s international film fest.
The announcement was made yesterday by organisers of the event, which takes place August 29-September 8, 2012.
The director of Heat and Collateral follows US filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, who last year presided over the jury that awarded the top prize, the Golden Lion, to Aleksandr Sokurov’s Faust. – AFP
