Chloe Moretz (Hugo) has signed on for the film as Wilson's daughter Jennifer. Aaron Eckhart (Battle: Los Angeles) plays Dennis Wilson during the six years before he died in 1983.

Vera Farmiga will play Christine McVie, the singer-songwriter and keyboard player of Fleetwood Mac, who had an affair with the drummer, which may have inspired her song 1982 "Hold Me."

Grint's taking the role of Stan Shapiro, a young mailroom intern at the William Morris management company, who became a close friend to the drummer during that final spell of his life.

Director Randall Miller (Bottle Shock) co-wrote the script with Jody Savin. Production starts in June. — AFP-Relaxnews
