JAN 10 — There isn’t much joy to be had these days. There hasn’t been much to celebrate about in years.

But on January 9, 2012, if only for a moment — things changed. Maybe it’s a sign of better things to come. Maybe not.

But whatever happens after this, we will always have 901.

We will remember forever the images:

Of the crowds waiting in nervous anticipation. The banners. The cheer that greeted the great man’s arrival.

And the deafening roar, the tears that freely flowed, the euphoria of The Moment.

The Moment that sent the memories flooding back. To a time when all was all right with the world.

The saviour was back.

Oh how we’ve missed you, Thierry Henry!
