July 18 — I think it’s really cute that guys and girls hook up so easily. They meet, they smile at each other, they f*** each other’s brains out and then later try to act civilised and everything.
It’s so easy and simple.
It’s a lot harder for a guy to hook up with another guy. They meet, they sort of smile at each other but they have to be a bit careful in case the other party is a violent homophobic bigot. If that’s not the case, THEN they f*** each other’s brains out and then later try to act civilised and everything.
But that was 20 years ago.
Now two boys meet, they sort of smile at each other (which is a good start because straight guys have learned to stop smiling at guys they don’t already know), and then they have coffee to assess whether they have a future together because it’s all about long-term relationships nowadays. If there is a slight chance of a decent relationship, then they f*** each other’s brains out and then try later to act civilised and everything.
Which is not all too bad but it is a sign of gays caving under the straight society’s pressure to be more like straight people.
The straight society has been harping on about how temporary gay relationships are so gay people react by trying to have longer relationships.
The straight society also tried to pin the blame of HIV/AIDS on gay people so gay people went away to die silently.
The straight society tried to pin promiscuity on gay people, ignoring the fact that straight people had done it for thousands of years (a total of 0.5 per cent of the world population is related to Genghis Khan — that certainly wasn’t achieved by straight men being chaste)
The straight society says gay people are unnatural because they don’t have children. The fact is there are plenty of straight people who also can’t have and won’t have children. Worse still, some don’t want to have children and still do anyway and end up neglecting and abusing their own children. Then some straight people say that because of abusive parents, some children grow up gay.
But in the end, gay people get the blame for the lack of children, for being gay, a global epidemic, extinction of the human race (despite the fact that we’re reaching a stage of overpopulation around the world), and the breakdown of human relationships (Facebook, anyone?).
Being gay is being all that goes wrong in this world, it seems. What about the Cold War, the fall of the Roman empire (oh wait, that too was blamed on indulging in homosexual “acts”), the extinction of the dodo, global warming (because some gay guys are just so hot!) and space junk?
The point is: Straights are the majority, and gays the minority. At which point will gays stop taking on the guilt complex of straight people? At which point will the majority stop bullying the minority? (Oh wait — are we still talking about gay people here?)
