41 import players given green light to play in M-League
KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 3 – The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) today gave the green light for 41 import players to represent their respective teams in the M-League which kicks off tomorrow.
FAM’s Integrity Committee chairman Tan Sri Dr Aseh Che Mat said the decision was made during its committee meeting today.
“The minimum duration of the contract for players was six months and all the players can play in the M-League starting Jan 5,” he said in a statement today.
Players approved were Borgi Mohamed, Nikolche Klechkaroski (Pahang); Koh Traore, Rhys David Weston (Sabah); Caled Folan, George Boateng, (T-Team); Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh, Helmi Loussaief (Selangor PKNS); Francis Forkey Doe, Ramez Dayoub (Selangor); Simone Del Nero, Daniel Gonzalez Guiza (Johor Darul Takzim); Karim Rouani, Rafael Sauza Silva Novais (Perak); Chayene Medeiros Oliveira Santos, Nelson Marcelo San Martin Arria Gada (Kedah); Andre Francisco William, Muriel Juan Orlando (Johor); Carlos Roberto Alvis Pareira Junior, Stephen Damalie, Mohamad Ghaddar (Felda United); William Paul Modebo, Emanuel Matias De Poras (Negeri Sembilan); Vincent Bikana, Effa Owana Gean Emmanuel (Terengganu); Guy Bwelle, Ivan Babic (Sarawak); Bruno Sebastian Martelotto, Marlon Alex James (Armed Forces); Dennis Agware Antwi, Emmanuel Ayaah Okine (Perlis); Dimitrios Petratos, Keita Mandjou,Obinna Nwaneri, Lek K’cria (Kelantan); Tomas Chovanec, Hillary Odada Echsa (Betaria FC); Karlo Primorac, Goran Perak (Sime Darby); Kaye Edrisar, Mohamadou Sumareh (Police).
Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur’s request to include two import players from Slovakia, Juraj Kuhajdik and Vladislav Palsa was rejected by the FAM because the Kuala Lumpur Football Association had submitted the application late. – Bernama
