Nokia unveils Lumia 920 running Windows 8

The phone, Nokia’s first to run on Windows 8, features a 4.5-inch curved glass display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2000mAh battery (the largest to date in a Nokia phone), wireless charging, Nokia Maps, which will be available offline, and a panoramic photo feature which Nokia is calling “PureView.”

Several smartphone manufacturers are releasing devices to run on Windows 8 including Dell which earlier this month dropped three devices designed for Windows 8: the XPS tablet, XPS Duo 12 tablet/ laptop and the re-imagined XPS One 27 laptop. — AFP-Relaxnews
