Putrajaya says it can’t afford to subsidise fuel, sugar and other items as the subsidy bill can jump to more than RM20 billion. So we have to adjust our lifestyles even as prices rise and wages remain the same. How about the government? It decides on pricier bids than cheaper ones, all things being equal in the tenders. Come on, it must walk the talk. Unless all the talk is just pure hogwash.
