FEB 10 — Occam’s razor is the principle or reasoning that the simplest answer is often correct until evidence is presented to prove it false. In trying to solve whatever it is that ails our healthcare system, surely the solution is to allocate more resources from our federal budget to hospitals and clinics. Instead of spending just two per cent of GDP a year, maybe we should raise the spending to train more doctors, and build more hospitals and clinics. The proposed 1 Care scheme sounds more like a complex monster that even its own proponents do not understand.
