MOSCOW, July 29 – Russian special forces detained a man today who had taken control of an aircraft on a domestic flight to Moscow’s Domodedovo airport, ITAR-TASS news agency cited a police spokesman as saying.

All the passengers were freed safely after special forces disguised as doctors boarded the aircraft at the airport, TASS said.

The man had demanded a meeting with the media and law enforcement agencies but the news agency gave no more details on other demands. – Reuters
